KURO Academy salon training
Does your team consist of ambitious stylists, but are you still looking for a sharper signature? KURO Academy comes to your salon and trains your team at the level where hair truly makes the difference. Because the best transformations don't happen at a study day far from home. They happen when someone stands beside you at the chair, watches how you work, and shows you what could be just a little different. Sharper. More beautiful. More you.

We always begin with a free 30-minute introduction call. We discuss where your team currently stands, which techniques need deepening and which direction your salon wants to move in.
From that conversation, we build a programme suited to your level, products and schedule. The training can be technical, creative, commercial or a combination. Think colour techniques, dry cutting, editorial styling, client experience and salon branding.
We come to you. Your team doesn't need to leave the salon to work at a higher level.
For salons that want to take colour to a higher, more personal level. Your team deepens their skills in colour techniques such as expensive browns, cloudy blondes and foiling. The focus is on colour that feels rich, personal and wearable, with attention to hair health, undertone, skin tone and aftercare. Hands-on, with live demos on models.
From salon finish to something that makes a client genuinely step out of the chair differently. Your team learns to work with blow-outs, red carpet finishes, modern bridal hair and high-fashion updos. Not as looks that only work on a shoot, but as inspiration you translate for clients who want something special without losing themselves.
Cutting from character, texture and movement. Your team deepens their technical foundation with dry cutting and organic cutting techniques. The focus: learning to understand hair. Not working against texture, but moving with it. Creating a shape that sits well right after the appointment and stays beautiful in everyday life.
A salon with real appeal is built on more than great treatments. Bianca van Zwieten shares how KURO grew into a salon with a strong signature within the Dutch hair scene. Who is your ideal client? What makes your salon recognisable? How do interior, communication, service and the personal branding of your stylists come together into one story? For salon owners who want to go further than training alone and build on the brand itself, discover KURO Brand Agency.
Our trainers work with hair at the highest level every day. They work in the salon, backstage and on shoots, while simultaneously building KURO as a brand. That combination comes through in the training: practical, sharp and informed by real experience.

Mingus is a stylist with a creative and intuitive approach to hair. His work has personality, texture and movement — individual and expressive, yet wearable and refined. In training he shares how to work with texture rather than against it.

More than twenty years of experience in editorial work, salon management and education. Hairdresser of the Year, international session stylist and featured in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and ELLE. Bianca trains in editorial hair, dry cutting and salon branding. Her mission: to bridge the world of high fashion and hairstyling.

Specialised in lightening hair while preserving quality. Zoë combines creativity with a methodical approach and trains teams in colour techniques, client consultations and aftercare. Her classes are taught in English.
