Ever wondered what it takes to work backstage at a fashion show? In this one-day masterclass, Bianca van Zwieten and Wiardi Koopmeiners take you behind the scenes and teach you the hair techniques that are used at shows season after season.
This masterclass is for hairstylists who want to take their first steps into fashion, and for make-up artists who also work with hair and want to sharpen their backstage hair skills.
The morning is dedicated to demos: the essential backstage techniques, straight from the shows we work on. In the afternoon you put everything into practice in a workshop designed to let you experience what working backstage really feels like: working under pressure, working in teams and knowing how to carry yourself at a fashion show. You work on real fashion models, and you are welcome to photograph your work for your portfolio.
One more thing: we are always building our own backstage teams for Paris Fashion Week and other major assignments. During this day we will be scouting talent, so bring your A-game.
